The Garga-samhita Verse 1.14.51, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 14 (The Liberation of Shakatasura and Trinavarta) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

श्री-ब्राह्मणा ऊचुः
मा शोचं कुरु हे नन्द
हे यशोदे व्रजेश्वरि
करिष्यामः शिशो रक्षां
चिरञ्-जीवी भवेद् अयम्

śrī-brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ
mā śocaṃ kuru he nanda
he yaśode vrajeśvari
kariṣyāmaḥ śiśo rakṣāṃ
cirañ-jīvī bhaved ayam

śrī-brāhmaṇāḥ ūcuḥ—the brāhmaṇas said; mā—don't; śocam—lamentation; kurudo; he—O; nandaNanda; he—O; yaśode—Yaśodā; vrajeśvari—O queen of Vraja; kariṣyāmaḥ—we will do; śiśoḥ—of the boy; rakṣām—protection; cirata long time; jīvīliving; bhavet—will be; ayamHe.

English translation of verse 1.14.51:

The brāhmaṇas said: O Nanda, O Yaśodā queen of Vraja, don't lament. We will protect your son. He will live for a long time.
