श्री-नारद उवाच
तदैव विप्रा विद्वांस
आगता नन्द-मन्दिरम्
यशोदया च नन्देन
पूजिता आसन-स्थिताः

śrī-nārada uvāca
tadaiva viprā vidvāṃsa
āgatā nanda-mandiram
yaśodayā ca nandena
pūjitā āsana-sthitāḥ

śrī-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; tadāthen; eva—certainly; viprāḥthe brāhmaṇas; vidvāṃsaḥ—wise; āgatāḥ—came; nanda-mandiram—to Nanda's palace; yaśodayā—with Yaśodā; ca—and; nandena—with Nanda; pūjitāworshiped; āsanaon a seat; sthitāḥ—situated.

English translation of verse 1.14.50:

Śrī Nārada said: Then many learned brāhmaṇas came to Nanda's palace. Nanda and Yaśodā worshiped them and gave them seats.
