The Garga-samhita Verse 1.14.49, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. एक-बालेन मे सौख्यम्
अन्ध-यष्टिर् इव प्रिये
बालं नीत्वा गमिष्यामि
देशे रोहिणी निर्भये

eka-bālena me saukhyam
andha-yaṣṭir iva priye
bālaṃ nītvā gamiṣyāmi
deśe rohiṇī nirbhaye

eka—with one; bālena—child; me—of me; saukhyam—of happiness; andhaa blind; yaṣṭiḥstick; iva—as if; priye—O dear one; bālam—boy; nītvā—bringing; gamiṣyāmi—I will go; deśe—in the country; rohiṇiO Rohiṇī; nirbhaye—without fear.

English translation of verse 1.14.49:

My son will make me happy. I will become like a blind stick immobile with bliss. O dear Rohiṇī, I will take my son and go to the kingdom of fearlessness.
