विशीर्ण-वयवस्यापि
पतितस्य स्वनेन वै
विनेदुश् च दिशः सर्वाः
कम्पितं भूमि-मण्डलम्

viśīrṇa-vayavasyāpi
patitasya svanena vai
vineduś ca diśaḥ sarvāḥ
kampitaṃ bhūmi-maṇḍalam

viśīrṇabroken; avayavasya—of the body; api—also; patitasya—fallen; svanena—by the sound; vai—certainly; vineduḥ—resounded; ca—also; diśaḥthe directions; sarvāḥ—all; kampitam—trembled; bhūmi-maṇḍalam—the earth.

English translation of verse 1.14.36:

The sound of the fallen body breaking into pieces filled all the directions and make the earth tremble.
