The Garga-samhita Verse 1.14.33, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 14 (The Liberation of Shakatasura and Trinavarta) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

अथ कृष्णं पतयितुं
दैत्यस् तत्र समुद्यतः
गलं जग्राह तस्यापि
परिपूर्णतमः स्वयम्

atha kṛṣṇaṃ patayituṃ
daityas tatra samudyataḥ
galaṃ jagrāha tasyāpi
paripūrṇatamaḥ svayam

athathen; kṛṣṇam—Kṛṣṇa; patayitum—to drop; daityaḥ—the demon; tatra—there; samudyataḥ—was eager; galamthe neck; jagrāha—grasped; tasya—of him; api—also; paripūrṇatamaḥ svayam—the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

English translation of verse 1.14.33:

The demon wanted to drop Kṛṣṇa right there, but the tiny Supreme Personality of Godhead steadfastly held his neck.
