The Garga-samhita Verse 1.14.27, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. कंस-प्रणोदितो दैत्यस्
तृणावर्तो महा-बालः
जहार बालं क्रीडन्तं
वात-वर्तेन सुन्दरम्

kaṃsa-praṇodito daityas
tṛṇāvarto mahā-bālaḥ
jahāra bālaṃ krīḍantaṃ
vāta-vartena sundaram

kaṃsa-praṇoditaḥ—sent by Kaṃsa; daityaḥdemon; tṛṇāvartaḥTṛṇāvarto; mahā-bālaḥvery powerful; jahāra—took; bālam—the infant boy; krīḍantam—playing; vāta-vartena—with a whirlwind; sundaram—handsome.

English translation of verse 1.14.27:

The powerful demon Tṛṇāvarta, who had been sent by Kaṃsa, with a circling whirlwind grabbed the handsome, playing infant boy.
