The Garga-samhita Verse 1.14.25, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 14 (The Liberation of Shakatasura and Trinavarta) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

उत्सङ्गे क्रीडितं बालं
लालयन्त्य् एकदा नृप
गिरि-भारं न सेहे सा
वोढुं श्री-नन्द-गेहिनी

utsaṅge krīḍitaṃ bālaṃ
lālayanty ekadā nṛpa
giri-bhāraṃ na sehe sā
voḍhuṃ śrī-nanda-gehinī

utsaṅge—on the lap; krīḍitam—playing; bālam—infant; lālayantī—fondling; ekadāonce; nṛpaO king; giriof a mountain; bhāram—the weight; na—not; sehe—was able; sā—she; voḍhum—to carry; śrī-nanda-gehinī—Nanda's wife.

English translation of verse 1.14.25:

O king, one day, as He played on her lap and she fondled Him, Nanda's wife could not longer hold her infant boy, for he had become as heavy as a mountain.
