बलो जानु-द्वयं पातु
जङ्घे बुद्धः प्रपातु ते
पदौ पातु स-गुल्फौ च
कल्किर् धर्म-पतिः प्रभुः
balo jānu-dvayaṃ pātu
jaṅghe buddhaḥ prapātu te
padau pātu sa-gulphau ca
kalkir dharma-patiḥ prabhuḥ
balaḥ—Balarāma; jānu-dvayam—two knees; pātu—may protect; jaṅghe—legs; buddhaḥ—Buddha; prapātu—may protect; te—Your; padau—feet; pātu—may protect; sa—with; gulphau—ankles; ca—also; kalkiḥ—Kalki; dharma—of religion; patiḥ—the master; prabhuḥ—the Lord.
English translation of verse 1.13.21:
May Lord Balarāma protect Your knees. May Lord Buddha protect Your shins.
May Lord Kalki, the master of religion, protect Your ankles and feet.
