लक्ष्मीश् च गरुडारूढा
दुर्गाख्या सिंह-वाहिनी
गो-रूप-धारिणी पृथ्वी
विमान-स्था समाययौ

lakṣmīś ca garuḍārūḍhā
durgākhyā siṃha-vāhinī
go-rūpa-dhāriṇī pṛthvī
vimāna-sthā samāyayau

English translation of verse 1.12.45:

Lakṣmī came riding on Garuḍa. Durgā came riding on a lion. Manifesting the form of a cow, the earth-goddess came riding in an airplane.
