The Garga-samhita Verse 1.12.43, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 12 (Description of Shri Nanda’s Festival) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

वायुश् च खञ्जनारूढो
यमो महिष-वाहनः
धनदः पुष्पकारूढो
मृगारूढो क्षपेश्वरः

vāyuś ca khañjanārūḍho
yamo mahiṣa-vāhanaḥ
dhanadaḥ puṣpakārūḍho
mṛgārūḍho kṣapeśvaraḥ

vāyuḥVāyus; ca—also; khañjana-ārūḍhaḥriding on a khanjana bird; yamaḥYama; mahiṣa-vāhanaḥ—riding on a buffalo; dhanadaḥ—Kuvera; puṣpaka-ārūḍhaḥ—riding on a flower chariot; mṛga-ārūḍhaḥ—riding on a deer; kṣapeśvaraḥ—the moon-god.

English translation of verse 1.12.43:

Vāyu came riding on a khañjana bird. Yamarāja came riding on a buffalo.

Kuvera came riding on a flower chariot. The moon-god came riding on a deer.
