The Garga-samhita Verse 1.12.36, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 12 (Description of Shri Nanda’s Festival) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

सूताः पौरणिकाः प्रोक्ता
मागधा वंस-संशकाः
वन्दिनस् त्व् अमल-प्रज्ञाः
प्रस्ताव-सदृशोक्तयः

sūtāḥ pauraṇikāḥ proktā
māgadhā vaṃsa-saṃśakāḥ
vandinas tv amala-prajñāḥ
prastāva-sadṛśoktayaḥ

sūtāḥthe sūtas; pauraṇikāḥ—the pauraṇikas; proktāḥ—said; māgadhāḥthe māgadhas; vaṃśa-saṃśakāḥ—the reciters of genealogies; vandinaḥthe vandis; tu—also; amalapure; prajñāḥchildren; prastavaprayers; sadṛśalike that; uktayaḥ—words.

English translation of verse 1.12.36:

Then many intelligent and pure sūtas, paurāṇikas, māgadhas, vaṃśa-śaṃsakas, and vandīs recited many prayers.
