The Garga-samhita Verse 1.12.3, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 12 (Description of Shri Nanda’s Festival) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

क्रोश-मात्रं रात्न-सानून्
सुवर्ण-शिखरान् गिरीन्
स-रसान् सप्त-धन्यानां
ददौ विप्रेभ्य आनतः

krośa-mātraṃ rātna-sānūn
suvarṇa-śikharān girīn
sa-rasān sapta-dhanyānāṃ
dadau viprebhya ānataḥ

krośatwo miles; mātram—size; rātnaof jewels; sānūn—mountain peaks; suvarṇaof gold; śikharān—mountain peaks; girīn—mountains; sa-rasān—with nectar; saptaseven; dhanyānām—of wealth; dadau—gave; viprebhyaḥ—to the brāhmaṇas; ānataḥ—his head bowed.

English translation of verse 1.12.3:

With bowed head he gave many hills of seven grains with peaks of jewels and gold to the brāhmaṇas.
