The Garga-samhita Verse 1.11.71, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 11 (Description of Shri Krishnacandra’s Birth) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

जातो यदि महा-विष्णुस्
ते शत्रुर् यो मही-तले
अयं चैतद् वधोपायो
गवादीनां विहिंसनम्

jāto yadi mahā-viṣṇus
te śatrur yo mahī-tale
ayaṃ caitad vadhopāyo
gavādīnāṃ vihiṃsanam

jātaḥborn; yadi—if; mahā-viṣṇuḥLord Mahā-Viṣṇu; te—your; śatruḥenemy; yaḥ—who; mahīof the earth; tale—on the surface; ayamHe; ca—also; etat—this; vadhakilling; upāyaḥ—means; gavacows; ādīnām—beginning with; vihiṃsanam—violence.

English translation of verse 1.11.71:

If your enemy Lord Mahā-Viṣṇu is indeed born on the earth then the way to kill Him is to attack the cows and these others.
