The Garga-samhita Verse 1.11.51, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 11 (Description of Shri Krishnacandra’s Birth) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

अथ बाल-ध्वनिं श्रुत्वा
रक्षकाः समुपस्थिताः
ऊचुः कंसाय वीराय
गत्वा तद्-राज-मन्दिरम्

atha bāla-dhvaniṃ śrutvā
rakṣakāḥ samupasthitāḥ
ūcuḥ kaṃsāya vīrāya
gatvā tad-rāja-mandiram

athathen; bālaof an infant; dhvanim—the sound; śrutvāhearing; rakṣakāḥ—the guards; samupasthitāḥ—standing by; ūcuḥ—said; kaṃsāya—to Kaṃsa; vīrāya—the warrior; gatvā—having gone; tad-rāja-mandiram—to his royal palace.

English translation of verse 1.11.51:

Hearing the sounds of an infant, the guards went to the royal palace and told the warrior Kaṃsa.
