The Garga-samhita Verse 1.11.49, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. तत्-सुतां समुपादाय
पुनर् गेहाज् जगाम सः
तीर्त्वा श्री-यमुनां शौरिः
स्वागारे पूर्ववत् स्थितः

tat-sutāṃ samupādāya
punar gehāj jagāma saḥ
tīrtvā śrī-yamunāṃ śauriḥ
svāgāre pūrvavat sthitaḥ

tat-sutām—her daughter; samupādāya—taking; punaḥ—again; gehāt—from the house; jagāma—went; saḥ—he; tīrtvā—crossing; śrī-yamunām—Śrī Yamunā; śauriḥ—Vasudeva; svāgāre—to his own prison cell; pūrvavatas before; sthitaḥ—situated.

English translation of verse 1.11.49:

Picking up the infant Yogamāyā, Vasudeva left the house, crossed the Yamunā, entered his prison cell, and became as he had been before.
