The Garga-samhita Verse 1.11.30, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 11 (Description of Shri Krishnacandra’s Birth) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

हरिम् आनकदुन्दुभिः स्तवैः
स्तवनं तं प्रणिपत्य विस्मितः
अकरोद् उदित-प्रभूदयो
गत-भीः सूति-गृहे कृताञ्जलिः

harim ānakadundubhiḥ stavaiḥ
stavanaṃ taṃ praṇipatya vismitaḥ
akarod udita-prabhūdayo
gata-bhīḥ sūti-gṛhe kṛtāñjaliḥ

harim—to Lord Hari; ānakadundubhiḥVasudeva; stavaiḥ—with prayers; stavanam—praise; tam—to Him; praṇipatya—bowing down; vismitaḥfilled with wonder; akarot—did; uditamanifested; prabhuof the Lord; udayaḥappearance; gatagone; bhīḥ—fear; sūti-gṛhe—in the maternity room; kṛta-añjaliḥwith folded hands.

English translation of verse 1.11.30:

Standing before the Lord in the maternity-room, astonished Vasudeva bowed down. Now fearless, with folded hands he glorified the Lord with many prayers.
