परिपूर्णतमः साक्षाच्
छ्री-कृष्णो भगवान् स्वयम्
विवेश वसुदेवस्य
मनः पूर्वं परात् परः

paripūrṇatamaḥ sākṣāc
chrī-kṛṣṇo bhagavān svayam
viveśa vasudevasya
manaḥ pūrvaṃ parāt paraḥ

paripūrṇatamaḥ—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; sākṣātdirectly; śrī-kṛṣṇaḥŚrī Kṛṣṇa; bhagavānthe Lord; svayam—Himself; viveśa—entered; vasudevasya—of Vasudeva; manaḥ—the heart; pūrvam—before; parāt—than the greatest; paraḥ—greater.

English translation of verse 1.11.1:

Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the original Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is greater than the greatest, personally entered Vasudeva's heart.
