उग्रसेनस् तदा क्रुद्धो
यादवेन्द्रो नृपेश्वरह्
वारयाम् आस कंसाख्यं
वसुदेव-सहाय-कृत्
ugrasenas tadā kruddho
yādavendro nṛpeśvarah
vārayām āsa kaṃsākhyaṃ
vasudeva-sahāya-kṛt
ugrasenah—Ugrasena; tadā—then; kruddhah—angry; yādavendrah—the king of the Yādavas; nṛpeśvarah—the king of kings; vārayām āsa—stopped; kaṃsākhyam— Kaṃsa; vasudeva—to Vasudeva; sahāya—help; kṛt—did.
English translation of verse 1.10.14:
Angry at this, emperor Ugrasena, who was the master of the Yādavas, stopped Kaṃsa and helped Vasudeva.
