The Garga-samhita Verse 1.10.2, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. शौरिह् कालेन देवक्याम्
अष्टौ पुत्रान् अजीजनत्
अनुवर्षं चाथ कन्याम्
एकां मायां सनातनीम्

śaurih kālena devakyām
aṣṭau putrān ajījanat
anuvarṣaṃ cātha kanyām
ekāṃ māyāṃ sanātanīm

śaurih—Vasudeva; kālena—in time; devakyām—in Devakī; aṣṭau—eight; putrān— sons; ajījanat—begat; anuvarṣam—every year; ca—and; athathen; kanyām— daughter; ekām—one; māyām—Māyā; sanātanīm—eternal.

English translation of verse 1.10.2:

In the course of time, year after year, Vasudeva begat in Devakī eight sons and a daughter who was the eternal goddess Māyā.
