The Garga-samhita Verse 1.7.5, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 7 (Description of the Conquest of All Directions) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

कंसस्य मुष्टिभिः सो ऽपि
निःसत्त्वो ऽभूद् भ्रमातुरः
भृत्यं कृत्वाथ तं कंसः
प्राप्तं मां प्रणनाम ह

kaṃsasya muṣṭibhiḥ so 'pi
niḥsattvo 'bhūd bhramāturaḥ
bhṛtyaṃ kṛtvātha taṃ kaṃsaḥ
prāptaṃ māṃ praṇanāma ha

kaṃsasya—of Kaṃsa; muṣṭibhiḥ—with punches; saḥ api—he; niḥsattvo—

English translation of verse 1.7.5:

weakened; abhūd—became; bhrama-āturaḥ—dizzy; bhṛtyaṃ—servant; kṛtvā—

doing; atha—then; taṃ—him; kaṃsas—Kaṃsa; prāptaṃ—attained; māṃ—me;

praṇanāma—bowed down; ha—indeed.

Kaṃsa's punches weakened him and made him dizzy. Kaṃsa made Vyoma his servant. Then Kaṃsa came to me and bowed down to offer respects.
