त्रि-शृङ्ग-शिखरे शेते
व्योमो नामासुरो बली
कंस-पाद-प्रबुद्धो ऽभूत्
क्रोध-सम्रक्त-लोचनः
tri-śṛṅga-śikhare śete
vyomo nāmāsuro balī
kaṃsa-pāda-prabuddho 'bhūt
krodha-samrakta-locanaḥ
tri-śṛṅga-śikhare—on the summit of Mount Trikūṭa; śete—slept; vyomo—
English translation of verse 1.7.3:
Vyoma; nāma—named; asuro—demon; balī—powerful; kaṃsa—of Kaṃsa; pāda—
by the foot; prabuddho—awakened; abhūt—became; krodha—with anger;
samrakta—red; locanaḥ—eyes.
A very strong demon named Vyoma slept on the summit of Mount Trikūṭa.
When Kaṃsa awakened him with a kick, his eyes became red with rage.
