The Garga-samhita Verse 1.6.49, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 6 (Description of Kamsa’s Strength) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

जघान मुष्टिनारिष्टं
कंसो वै दैत्य-पुङ्गवः मूर्छितं तं विनिर्जित्य
तेनोदीचीं दिशं गतः

jaghāna muṣṭināriṣṭaṃ
kaṃso vai daitya-puṅgavaḥ mūrchitaṃ taṃ vinirjitya
tenodīcīṃ diśaṃ gataḥ

jaghāna—struck; muṣṭinā—with fist; ariṣṭam—Ariṣṭa; kaṃsaḥKaṃsa; vai—indeed; daityaof demons; puṅgavaḥthe best; mūrchitam—fainted; tam—him; vinirjitya—defeating; tena—by that; udīcīm—north; diśam—direction; gataḥ—went.

English translation of verse 1.6.49:

With a single punch the great demon Kaṃsa made Ariṣṭa fall unconscious.

After this victory Kaṃsa went to the north.
