ततः शान्तो भार्गवो ऽपि
कंसं प्राह महोग्र-दृक्
हे कीट कर्कटी-दिम्भ
तुच्छो ऽसि मषको यथा
tataḥ śānto bhārgavo 'pi
kaṃsaṃ prāha mahogra-dṛk
he kīṭa karkaṭī-dimbha
tuccho 'si maṣako yathā
tataḥ—then; śāntaḥ—pacified; bhārgavaḥ—Paraśurāma; api—also; kaṃsam—to Kaṃsa; prāha—said; mahā—very; ugra—ferocious; dṛk—eyes; he—O; kīṭa—worm; karkaṭī—crab; dimbha—baby; tucchaḥ—insignificant; asi—you are; maṣakaḥ—mosquito; yathā—as.
English translation of verse 1.6.34:
Pacified by this, Paraśurāma, his eyes very fierce, said to Kaṃsa, "O worm! O baby crab! You are insignificant as a mosquito.
