The Garga-samhita Verse 1.6.26, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 6 (Description of Kamsa’s Strength) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तस्मै निवेद्याभिप्रायं
युयुधे वानरेण सः
द्विविदेनापि विंशत्या
दिनैः कंसो ह्य् अविश्रमम्

tasmai nivedyābhiprāyaṃ
yuyudhe vānareṇa saḥ
dvividenāpi viṃśatyā
dinaiḥ kaṃso hy aviśramam

tasmai—to him; nivedyaappealing; abhiprāyam—intention; yuyudhe—fought; vanareṇa—with the gorilla; saḥ—he; dvividena—Dvivida; api—also; viṃśatyā—for twenty; dinaiḥ—days; kaṃsaḥKaṃsa; hi—indeed; aviśramam—without fatigue.

English translation of verse 1.6.26:

After presenting his proposal before him, Kaṃsa fought with the gorilla Dvivida for twenty days without becoming tired.
