कंसस् तान् आह साम्नापि
दुर्युद्धं करवामहे
अहं दासो भवेयं वो
भवन्तो जयिनो यदि

kaṃsas tān āha sāmnāpi
duryuddhaṃ karavāmahe
ahaṃ dāso bhaveyaṃ vo
bhavanto jayino yadi

kaṃsaḥKaṃsa; tān—to them; āha—said; sāmnā—calmly; api—also; duryuddham—fight; karavāmahe—let us do; aham—I; dāsaḥ—slave; bhaveyam—will be; vaḥ—of you; bhavantaḥ—you; jayinaḥ—victorious; yadi—if.

English translation of verse 1.6.18:

Kaṃsa calmly said to them: "Let us fight. If you win, I will become your servant.
