युयुधानश् चाम्बरीषः
प्रह्लादः सत्यकिस् तथा
क्षीराब्धिः शान्तनुः साक्षाद्
भीष्मो द्रोणो वसूत्तमः
yuyudhānaś cāmbarīṣaḥ
prahlādaḥ satyakis tathā
kṣīrābdhiḥ śāntanuḥ sākṣād
bhīṣmo droṇo vasūttamaḥ
yuyudhānaḥ—Yuyudhāna; ca—and; ambarīṣaḥ—Ambarīṣa; prahlādaḥ—
English translation of verse 1.5.26:
Prahlāda; satyakiḥ—Satyakis; tathā—so; kṣīrābdhiḥ—the ocean of milk;
śāntanuḥ—Śāntanu; sākṣāt—directly; bhīṣmaḥ—Bhīṣma; droṇaḥ—Droṇa;
vasūttamaḥ—the best of the Vasus.
Ambarīṣa will descend as Yuyudhāna, Prahlāda as Satyaki, Kṣīrābdhi as Śantanu, and Droṇa Vasūttama as Bhīṣma.
