The Garga-samhita Verse 1.5.17, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 5 (The Lord’s Appearance) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

श्री-अत्रिर् उवाच
गो-दोहं कुरुताश्व् अद्य
पृथ्वीयं धारणामयी
सर्वं दास्यति वो दुर्गं
मनोरथ-महार्णवम्

śrī-atrir uvāca
go-dohaṃ kurutāśv adya
pṛthvīyaṃ dhāraṇāmayī
sarvaṃ dāsyati vo durgaṃ
manoratha-mahārṇavam

śrī-atriḥ uvāca—Atri said; go-doham—cow's milk; kuruta—do; āśu—at once;

English translation of verse 1.5.17:

adya—now; pṛthvī iyam—the earth; dharaṇāmayī—in meditation; sarvam—

everything; dāsyati—will give; vaḥ—to you; durgam—difficult to attain;

manoratha—of desires mahā-arṇavam—the great ocean.

Śrī Atri Muni said: In meditation make an offering of milk to her and the earth will give you a great and impassable ocean of fulfilled desires.
