The Garga-samhita Verse 1.4.48, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. येषाम् आश्रमम् आसद्य
धनुर्-बाण-धरो युवा
तेषां ध्याने गतो रामो
जटा-मुकुट-मण्डितः

yeṣām āśramam āsadya
dhanur-bāṇa-dharo yuvā
teṣāṃ dhyāne gato rāmo
jaṭā-mukuṭa-maṇḍitaḥ

yeṣām—of whom; āśramam—the hermitage; āsadya—attaining; dhanuḥbow; bāṇaand arrows; dharaḥholding; yuvāyoung; teṣām—of them; dhyāne—in meditation; gataḥgone; rāmaḥrāma; jaṭā-mukuṭa-maṇḍitaḥ—decorated with matted locks of hair.

English translation of verse 1.4.48:

He came to their āśrama as a youth carrying bow and arrows. Then He appeared in their meditation as a sage with matted hair.
