गोपालोपासकाः सर्वे
दण्डकारण्य-वासिनः
ध्यायन्तः सततं मां वै
रासार्थं ध्यान-तत्-पराः
gopālopāsakāḥ sarve
daṇḍakāraṇya-vāsinaḥ
dhyāyantaḥ satataṃ māṃ vai
rāsārthaṃ dhyāna-tat-parāḥ
gopāla—of Lord Gopāla; upāsakāḥ—worshipers; sarve—all; daṇḍakāraṇya-vāsinaḥ—the residents of the Daṇḍaka forest; dhyāyantaḥ—meditating; satatam—always; mām—on Me; vai—indeed; rāsa—the rāsa dance; artham—for the purpose; dhyāna-tat-parāḥ—rapt in meditation.
English translation of verse 1.4.47:
All the sages in the Daṇḍaka forest were worshipers of Lord Gopāla. To attain the rāsa dance they always meditated on Me.
