आगतं सीतया सार्धं
सैन्येन रघु-नन्दनम्
अयोध्या-पुर-वासिन्यः
श्रुत्वा द्रष्टुं समाययुः

āgataṃ sītayā sārdhaṃ
sainyena raghu-nandanam
ayodhyā-pura-vāsinyaḥ
śrutvā draṣṭuṃ samāyayuḥ

āgatam—arrived; sītayā—Sītā; sārdham—with; sainyena—army; raghu-nandanam—the joy of the Raghus; ayodhyā-pura-vāsinyaḥ—the women of Ayodhyā; śrutvāhearing; draṣṭum—to see; samāyayuḥ—came.

English translation of verse 1.4.43:

When He came with Sītā and with His army, the women of Ayodhyā went to see the joy of the Raghus.
