श्री-हरिर् उवाच
दुर्लभो दुर्घटश् चैव
युष्माकं सु-मनोरथः
मयानुमोदिताः सम्यक्
सत्यो भवितुम् अर्हति

śrī-harir uvāca
durlabho durghaṭaś caiva
yuṣmākaṃ su-manorathaḥ
mayānumoditāḥ samyak
satyo bhavitum arhati

śrī-hariḥ uvāca—Śrī Hari said; durlabhaḥdifficult to attain; durghaṭaḥimpossible; ca—and; eva—indeed; yuṣmākam—your; su—beautiful; manorathaḥ—desire; mayāby Me; anumoditāḥ—allowed; samyakcompletely; satyaḥ—true; bhavitum—to be; arhati—is worthy.

English translation of verse 1.4.30:

Śrī Hari said: Although your glorious desire is impossible and can never be attained, I will grant it. It will become true.
