यथा गोलोक-वासिन्यः
कामिनीत्वेन गोपिकाः
भजन्ति रमणं मत्वा
चिकीर्षाजनि नस् तथा

yathā goloka-vāsinyaḥ
kāminītvena gopikāḥ
bhajanti ramaṇaṃ matvā
cikīrṣājani nas tathā

yathā—as; goloka-vāsinyaḥ—the girls of Goloka; kāminītvena—with the status of being beautiful girls; gopikāḥgopīs bhajanti—worship; ramaṇam—a lover; matvā—considering; cikīrṣā—desire; ajaniis born; naḥ—of us; tathā—so.

English translation of verse 1.4.29:

We yearn to become beautiful gopīs in Goloka who worship You as their lover.
