यत्र निर्मल-पानीया
कालिन्दी सरितां वरा
रत्न-बद्धोभय-तटी
हंस-पद्मादि-सङ्कुला
yatra nirmala-pānīyā
kālindī saritāṃ varā
ratna-baddhobhaya-taṭī
haṃsa-padmādi-saṅkulā
yatra—where; nirmala—pure; pānīyā—water; kālindī—Yamunā; saritām—of streams; varā—the best; ratna—with jewels; baddha—studded; ubhaya—both; taṭī—banks; haṃsa—with swans; padma—and lotuses; ādi—beginning; saṅkulā—filled.
English translation of verse 1.4.25:
