The Garga-samhita Verse 1.4.19, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 4 (Description of Questions About the Lord’s Appearance) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

श्री-भगवान् उवाच
श्वेतद्वीपे च भूमानं
श्रुतयस् तुष्टुवुः परम्
उषतीभिर् गिराभिश् च
प्रसन्नो ऽभूत् सहस्र-पात्

śrī-bhagavān uvāca
śvetadvīpe ca bhūmānaṃ
śrutayas tuṣṭuvuḥ param
uṣatībhir girābhiś ca
prasanno 'bhūt sahasra-pāt

śrī-bhagavān uvāca—the Supreme Personality of Godhead said; śvetadvīpe—in Śvetadvīpa; ca—also; bhūmānam—the Lord; śrutayaḥ—the personified Vedas; tuṣṭuvuḥ—offered prayers; param—greatly; uṣatībhiḥ—beautiful; girābhiḥ—with words; ca—also; prasannaḥpleased; abhūt—became; sahasra-pāt—the universal form, who has a thousand feet.

English translation of verse 1.4.19:

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: When in Śvetadvīpa the personififed Vedas offered prayers to Him with eloquent words, the Lord's form who has thousands of feet became pleased.
