The Garga-samhita Verse 1.4.16, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्रुति-रूपा ऋषि-रूपा
मैथिलाः कौशलास् तथा
अयोध्या-पुर-वासिन्यो

śruti-rūpā ṛṣi-rūpā
maithilāḥ kauśalās tathā
ayodhyā-pura-vāsinyo

यज्ञ-सीताः पुलिन्दकाः

yajña-sītāḥ pulindakāḥ

śrutiof the Vedas; rūpāḥforms; ṛṣi—of the sages; rūpāḥ—forms; maithilāḥ—of the women of Mithilā; kauśalāḥ—the people of Koṣalā; tathā—so; ayodhyā-pura-vāsinyaḥ—the women of Ayodhyā; yajña-sītāḥ—the Yajña Sītās; pulindakāḥ—the Pulindā girls.

English translation of verse 1.4.16:

Some of the gopīs to be had been Personified Vedas, some great sages, some women in Mithilā, some women in Koṣalā, some women in Ayodhyā, some yajñ-sītās, and some Pulindā girls.
