गोलोक-वासिन्यः काश्चित्
काश्चिद् वै द्वार-पालिकाः
शृङ्गार-प्रकरा काश्चित्
काश्चित् काश्चिच् छय्योपकारकाः

goloka-vāsinyaḥ kāścit
kāścid vai dvāra-pālikāḥ
śṛṅgāra-prakarā kāścit
kāścit kāścic chayyopakārakāḥ

golokaof Goloka; vāsinyaḥ—the residents; kaścit—some; kāścit—some; vai—indeed; dvāra-pālikāḥdoorkeepers; śṛṅgāra-prakarāḥ—decorators; kāścit—some; kāścit—some; kāścit—some; śayyā-upakārakāḥ—arranging the bed.

English translation of verse 1.4.11:

Some of the gopīs who live in Gokula are doorkeepers, some decorate (the divine couple), and some prepare the (divine couple's) bed.
