The Garga-samhita Verse 1.3.23, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 3 (Description of the Lord’s Appearance) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

श्री-नारद उवाच
इत्य् उक्तो भगवान् साक्षाच्
छ्री-कृष्णो गोकुलेश्वरः
प्रत्याह प्रणतान् देवान्
मेघ-गम्भीरया गिरा

śrī-nārada uvāca
ity ukto bhagavān sākṣāc
chrī-kṛṣṇo gokuleśvaraḥ
pratyāha praṇatān devān
megha-gambhīrayā girā

śrī-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; iti—thus; ukto—addressed; bhagavān sākṣātSupreme Personality of Godhead; śrī-kṛṣṇo—Śrī Kṛṣṇa; gokuleśvaraḥ—the king of Gokula; pratyāhareplied; praṇatān—offering obeisances; devān—to the demigods; megha-gambhīrayā—thunder; girāwith a voice.

English translation of verse 1.3.23:

Śrī Nārada said: Addressed in this way, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and the king of Gokula, in a voice of thunder replied to the demigods prostrate before Him.
