रथे लक्ष-हये शुभ्रे
स्थितश् चागतवांस् ततः
श्वेतद्वीपाधिपो भूमा
सहस्र-भुज-मण्डितः
rathe lakṣa-haye śubhre
sthitaś cāgatavāṃs tataḥ
śvetadvīpādhipo bhūmā
sahasra-bhuja-maṇḍitaḥ
rathe—in a chariot; lakṣa—with a hundred thousand; haye—horses; śubhre—splendid; sthitaś—standing; ca—also; āgatavān—arrived; tataḥ—then; śvetadvīpa-adhipo—the master of Śvetadvīpa; bhūmā—the Lord; sahasra-bhuja-maṇḍitaḥ—decorated with a thousand arms.
English translation of verse 1.3.4:
Then the master of Śvetadvīpa, who was decorated with a thousand arms, came in a splendid chariot drawn by a hundred thousand horses.
