तदैव चागतः पूर्णो
नृसिंहस् चाण्ड-विक्रमः
कोटि-सूर्य-प्रतीकाशो
लीनो ऽभूत् कृष्ण-तेजसि

tadaiva cāgataḥ pūrṇo
nṛsiṃhas cāṇḍa-vikramaḥ
koṭi-sūrya-pratīkāśo
līno 'bhūt kṛṣṇa-tejasi

tadāthen; eva—indeed; ca—also; āgataḥcame; pūrṇo—perfect; nṛsiṃhasNṛsiṃha; cāṇḍa-vikramaḥ—ferocious; koṭi-sūrya-pratīkāśo—splendid as millions of suns; līno—merged; abhūt—became; kṛṣṇa-tejasi—in Lord Kṛṣṇa's effulgence.

English translation of verse 1.3.3:

The perfect, ferocious, and powerful Lord Nrsiṃha, who was effulgent as millions of suns, merged in Lord Kṛṣṇa's effulgence.
