तं दृष्ट्वा प्रचलन्तस् ते
तत् पुरं जग्मुर् उत्तमम्
असङ्ख्य-कोटि-मर्तण्ड-
ज्योतिषां मण्डलं महत्
taṃ dṛṣṭvā pracalantas te
tat puraṃ jagmur uttamam
asaṅkhya-koṭi-martaṇḍa-
jyotiṣāṃ maṇḍalaṃ mahat
tam—that; dṛṣṭvā—having seen; pracalantaḥ—going; te—they; tat puram—to that city; jagmuḥ—went; uttamam—great; asaṅkhya—countless; koṭi—millions; martaṇḍa—of suns; jyotiṣām—of the splendor; maṇḍalam—circle; mahat—great.
English translation of verse 1.2.15:
After seeing this, they entered a city splendid as countless millions of suns.
