The Garga-samhita Verse 1.2.11, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 2 (Description of the Abode of Shri Goloka) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

जल-यानेन मार्गेण
बहिस् ते निर्ययुः सुराः
कलिङ्ग-बिम्ब-वच् चेदं
ब्रह्माण्डं ददृशुस् त्व् अधः

jala-yānena mārgeṇa
bahis te niryayuḥ surāḥ
kaliṅga-bimba-vac cedaṃ
brahmāṇḍaṃ dadṛśus tv adhaḥ

jala-yānena—on a boat; mārgeṇa—on the path; bahiḥoutside; te—they; niryayuḥ—went; surāḥ—the demigods; kaliṅga-bimba-vat—like a tiny kuṭaja seed; ca—also; idam—this; brahmāṇḍam—universe; dadṛśuḥ—saw; tu—indeed; adhaḥbelow.

English translation of verse 1.2.11:

Going by boat on this path, the demigods left the universe. They saw the universe was like a round kuṭaja fruit far below.
