इत्य् उक्तो ऽपि हरिः पूर्णः
सर्वैर् देव-गणैः सह
पदवीं दर्शयाम् आस
ब्रह्माण्ड-शिखरोपरि
वाम-पादाङ्गुष्ठ-नख-
भिन्न-ब्रह्माण्ड-मष्टके
श्री-वामनस्य विवरे
ब्रह्म-द्रव-समाकुले
śrī-nārada uvāca
ity ukto 'pi hariḥ pūrṇaḥ
sarvair deva-gaṇaiḥ saha
padavīṃ darśayām āsa
brahmāṇḍa-śikharopari
vāma-pādāṅguṣṭha-nakha-
bhinna-brahmāṇḍa-maṣṭake
śrī-vāmanasya vivare
brahma-drava-samākule
śrī-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; iti—thus; uktaḥ—addressed; api—indeed; hariḥ—Lord Hari; pūrṇaḥ—perfect; sarvaiḥ—all; deva-gaṇaiḥ—the demigods; saha—with; padavīm—the path; darśayām āsa—revealed; brahmāṇḍa—the universes; śikhara-upari—above; vāma—left; pādāṅguṣṭha-nakha—toenail; bhinna—broken; brahmāṇḍa—of the universes; maṣṭake—on the head śrī-vāmanasya—of Śrī Vāmana; vivare—in the hole; brahma-drava—with the spiritual river; samākule—filled.
English translation of verses 1.2.9-10:
Śrī Nārada said: When this was said, perfect Lord Hari showed all the demigods a spiritual river path flowing through the hole Śrī Vāmana made in the universe with His toenail.
