The Garga-samhita Verse 1.2.6, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 2 (Description of the Abode of Shri Goloka) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

नत्वा चतुर्-भुजं विष्णुं
स्वाभिप्रायं जगाद ह
अथोद्विग्नं देव-गणं
श्री-नाथः प्राह तं विधिम्

natvā catur-bhujaṃ viṣṇuṃ
svābhiprāyaṃ jagāda ha
athodvignaṃ deva-gaṇaṃ
śrī-nāthaḥ prāha taṃ vidhim

natvā—bowing down; catur-bhujam—with four arms; viṣṇum—to Lord Viṣṇu; sva—own; abhiprāyam—intention; jagāda—explained; ha—certainly; athathen; udvignam—distressed; deva-gaṇamto the demigods; śrī-nāthaḥ—the husband of the goddess of fortune; prāha—spoke; tam—to him; vidhim—Brahmā.

English translation of verse 1.2.6:

Brahmā bowed down before four-armed Lord Viṣṇu and explained why he had come. Then He who is the husband of the goddess of fortune spoke to Brahmā and the troubled demigods.
