The Garga-samhita Verse 1.1.23, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. चतुर्-व्यूहो भवेद् यत्र
दृश्यन्ते च रसा नव
अतः परं च वीर्याणि
स तु पूर्णः प्रकथ्यते

catur-vyūho bhaved yatra
dṛśyante ca rasā nava
ataḥ paraṃ ca vīryāṇi
sa tu pūrṇaḥ prakathyate

catur-vyūhaḥthe catur-vyūha incarnations; bhavet—are; yatrawhere; dṛśyante—are seen; ca—also; rasāḥmellows; navanine; ataḥ—then; param—after; ca—also; vīryāṇi—prowess; saḥ—He; tu—indeed; pūrṇaḥpūrṇa; prakathyate—is said.

English translation of verse 1.1.23:

The pūrṇa incarnations are said to include the catur-vyūha incarnations. They are said to be the places where heroic powers and the nine rasas are seen.
