अम्बराद् आगतम् दृष्ट्वा
नारदं मुनि-सत्तमम्
सम्पूज्य चासने स्थाप्य
कृताञ्जलिर् अभाषत
ambarād āgatam dṛṣṭvā
nāradaṃ muni-sattamam
sampūjya cāsane sthāpya
kṛtāñjalir abhāṣata
ambarāt—from the sky; āgatam—come; dṛṣṭvā—seeing; nāradam—Nārada; muni-sattamam—the best of sages; sampūjya—worshiping; ca—and; āsane—a seat; sthāpya—giving; kṛtāñjaliḥ—with folded hands; abhāṣata—spoke.
English translation of verse 1.1.11:
Seeing the best of sages Nārada decend from the sky, (the king) worshiped him, offered him a seat, and with folded hands addressed him.
