The Garga-samhita Verse 1.1.5, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. तं दृष्ट्वा सहसोत्थाय
शौनको मुनिभिः सह
पूजयाम् आस पद्याद्यैर्
उपचारैर् विधानतः

taṃ dṛṣṭvā sahasotthāya
śaunako munibhiḥ saha
pūjayām āsa padyādyair
upacārair vidhānataḥ

tam—him; dṛṣṭvāseeing; sahasāat once; utthāyarising; śaunakaḥŚaunaka; munibhiḥ sahawith the sages; pūjayām āsa—worshiped; padya-ādyaiḥ—beginning with water for washing the feet; upacāraiḥ—with many offerings; vidhānataḥ—according to religious tradition.

English translation of verse 1.1.5:

Seeing him, Śaunaka and the sages at once stood up and worshiped him by washing his feet and presenting many offerings according to ancient tradition.
