Temples in Aintali

On the south-east of the Muvarkoyil was a temple known as Aintali, another distinct type of temple belonging to the class called the Panchcayatana. Such types of temples are found in Northern, Central and Eastern India. This seems to be the only specimen known to us in South India. Unfortunately it is in ruins. Only the common platform with the basement of a central shrine and of four shrines at the four corners could be seen now.
