Verse 3.3.3
तद्व्यक्षरत्तदादित्यमभितोऽश्रयत्तद्वा एतद्यदेतदादित्यस्य कृष्णंरूपम् ॥ ३.३.३ ॥
॥ इति तृतीयः खण्डः ॥tadvyakṣarattadādityamabhito'śrayattadvā etadyadetadādityasya kṛṣṇaṃrūpam || 3.3.3 ||
|| iti tṛtīyaḥ khaṇḍaḥ ||3. All this [fame, etc.] spread out to the sun and took shelter there. It is this that gives rise to the black spots in the sun.
