तद्व्यक्षरत्तदादित्यमभितोऽश्रयत्तद्वा एतद्यदेतदादित्यस्य शुक्लं रूपम् ॥ ३.२.३ ॥
॥ इति द्वितीयः खण्डः ॥
tadvyakṣarattadādityamabhito'śrayattadvā etadyadetadādityasya śuklaṃ rūpam || 3.2.3 ||
|| iti dvitīyaḥ khaṇḍaḥ ||
3. All this [fame, etc.] spread out to the sun and took shelter there. It is this that accounts for the white look of the sun.
