The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.10.42, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 42 of Antya-khanda chapter 10—“The Glories of Shri Pundarika Vidyanidhi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.10.42:

যত প্রীতি ঈশ্বরের পুরী-গোসাঞিরে দামোদর-স্বরূপেরে তত প্রীতি করে ॥ ৪২ ॥

यत प्रीति ईश्वरेर पुरी-गोसाञिरे दामोदर-स्वरूपेरे तत प्रीति करे ॥ ४२ ॥

yata prīti īśvarera purī-gosāñire dāmodara-svarūpere tata prīti kare || 42 ||

yata priti isvarera puri-gosanire damodara-svarupere tata priti kare (42)

English translation:

(42) The Lord had similar affection for Svarūpa Dāmodara as He had for Paramānanda Purī.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Śrī Svarūpa Dāmodara was renowned as Lord Gaurasundara’s first manifestation. Śrī Gaurasundara did not display any less respect for Dāmodara Svarūpa than He displayed for Śrī Paramānanda Purī.
